The event marks the first implementation of a cabinet-level department onto a commercial SSP solution based on Oracle Financials Release 12.
With this new solution, the agency's first financial management solution overhaul in over 20 years, DOL achieves its goal of modernizing its core financial management functions within the framework of a FSIO-compliant financial management Shared Service Provider (SSP).
